Kumta has definitely stolen my heart! I visited Kumta on a solo trip, and absolutely fell in love with the place. Ever since I came back from Kumta, I have been insisting my friends, family, and my readers to give this virgin place a chance. It is located on the coastal part of Karnataka and is hardly a 6 – 7 hour journey from Bengaluru.
Kumta also stands at the top of my list as one of the ideal places for a weekend getaway/staycation. With covid-19 restricting our travel plans, a staycation at Kumta might be the ideal way to rejuvenate yourself and even work from the view of the beaches while you’re at it. Yes, you heard me right. Kumta is not just a little town in the coastal part of Karnataka but is a treasure of pristine beaches, adventurous caves, and historical forts.
